Senior Spotlight: Geovana Ramos

Geovana Ramos is a senior at JGHS who is involved in clubs and activities such as volleyball, soccer, and CSF, while taking AP classes like AP Statistics and AP Literature. She is a hard worker both in and outside of school, and is planning on furthering her education at a 4-year university after high school. Recently, I got the opportunity to ask her some questions regarding herself, sports, and her plans for college.

Question 1: What sports do you play, and how long have you been playing them?

Answer: I am currently on the volleyball and soccer teams at JGHS. I’ve been playing volleyball since elementary school. As for soccer, I’ve been playing since I was in middle school.

Question 2: What is your favorite sport to be in?

Answer: My favorite sport to be in is soccer because I love the adrenaline I get from such a fast-paced sport, where I’m constantly making plays with my teammates and trying to score.

Question 3: What college do you plan to attend and what do you want to major in?

Answer: I’m not sure of which school I plan to attend yet, but I plan to go to a 4-year university and I plan to major in business.

Question 4: Are you currently in any clubs?

Answer: I am currently in CSF.

Question 5: What are some highlights of senior year that you can remember?

Answer: A highlight of senior year would be playing the sports that I love and having fun with my teammates.

Question 6: What is your favorite song at the moment?
